Creamy Vegan Curd (with Milky Magic)

Get ready for a treat —a healthy, dairy-free curd that doesn't compromise on taste. Light, creamy, and sets well, this curd is a game-changer for your taste buds and your well-being. Let's whip up this dairy-free magic that promises to add a dollop of joy to your meals! 

 

Serving: 350g curd

Ingredients: 

  1. Milky Magic - 40g (one full sachet, or 2-3 spoons from Jar)
  2. Water - 300ml (one big cup)
  3. Curd Starter - 2 to 3 table-spoons of any existing curd (both plant based curd as well as dairy based curd would work)

Instructions: 

  1. Take 300ml water (to make thick milk)
  2. Add 40g of Milky Magic (1 full sachet, or 2-3 spoons from Jar)
  3. Blend for 1min using mixer grinder or hand-blender
  4. Warm this thick milk, until it comes to boil
  5. Wait until it cools down a bit, but is still warm (approx 45-50 degree Celsius)
  6. Then add 2-3 table-spoons of any existing curd (3 times compared to usual starter quantity needed for dairy curd)
  7. Mix this starter in the milk properly with hand blender or whisk 
  8. Then cover the pot and keep it in a warm place for 5-8 hours. Curd should be ready
  9. Keep this curd in the fridge for extra firmness
