What is in the bottle
Milk that has nothing to hide.
India's own food regulator, 2018
The regulator tested 6,432 samples of milk.
This is not our claim. It is FSSAI's National Milk Safety & Quality Survey, carried out by an independent third-party agency across every state and union territory.
- of samples were unsafe to drink
- 7% Contaminants above permissible limits
- carried aflatoxin M1 above limits
- 5.7% IARC: possibly carcinogenic to humans
- carried antibiotic residues above limits
- 1.2% Mostly oxytetracycline
- failed basic quality standards
- 41% Fat or solids-not-fat below spec
Why dairy sits badly with so many of us
Most Indian adults cannot fully digest lactose.
Lactase, the enzyme that breaks down lactose, switches off in most humans after childhood. In India the rate varies sharply by region, and in the south it is the clear majority.
What actually happens
Undigested lactose travels to the large intestine, where gut bacteria ferment it. That fermentation produces gas and draws water into the bowel, which is the bloating, cramping and urgency people describe after a glass of milk.
Why plant milk is different
Lactose exists only in the milk of mammals. Plant milk contains none, so there is nothing left undigested and nothing to ferment. That is a fact about what is in the bottle, not a claim about what it will do for you.
Six reasons, one switch
People come to plant milk from six directions.
Every panel below describes what is or is not in the bottle. That is deliberate: composition is something we can prove on a lab report.
01
Lactose intolerance
Zero lactose, because lactose only exists in mammal milk. Nothing to digest around.
02
Bloating and gas
No lactose reaching the large intestine means nothing there for gut bacteria to ferment.
03
On a low-FODMAP plan
Lactose is one of the FODMAPs people are asked to cut. Our milk has none of it.
04
Watching cholesterol
Plants do not make cholesterol, so there is none in the bottle. Not reduced. None.
05
Antibiotic residues
FSSAI found residues above permissible limits in 1.2% of milk samples. Ours has no animal in the supply chain at all.
06
Aflatoxin M1
It enters milk through cattle feed, and FSSAI found it above limits in 5.7% of samples. There is no feed chain here.
On the record
Don't take our word for it.
Every panel needs a real source line: publication, date, headline, or journal and DOI. A cutting without a citation persuades nobody and defends nothing.
