FAQs
Q: Instead of a mixer-grinder or a hand-blender, can I use a protein-shaker when traveling?
A: Yes! Just use the one with the ball inside and shake it for 1-2 minutes. Just avoid fork / spoon / electric frother, as they wont be able to blend it properly.
Q: Can this milk be boiled? Will it curdle or split?
A: Great news - It won’t. You can boil it without a worry, just like one can do with regular milk. Go ahead and make your chai kadak and coffee strong, the way you like!
Q: What's the difference between Almond Milk and Almond Whole-food milk?
A: The key difference between our Regular Almond Milk and Whole-Food Almond Milk lies in the quantity of almonds used.
The Whole-Food variant contains more almonds (25 almonds per 500 ml) compared to the Regular variant (20 almonds per 500 ml).
Additionally, the Whole-Food Almond Milk is a zero-oil version, designed for those on a zero oil diet.
Q: What is the shelf-life of the plant-butter and the prepared milk?
A: Shelf-life of the plant-butter is 5 months until opened, when stored in a cool and dry place.
Once the Jar is opened, consume it within 30 days. Once the pouch is opened, consume it immediately.
Once milk is made from the plant-butter, store it in the refrigerator and consume it within 3-4 days.
Q: I don’t understand some ingredients. Explain them please!
A: Absolutely! Sunflower lecithin is a natural emulsifier, derived from sunflower seeds. Di Potassium Phosphate is water soluble compound that acts like baking soda. It helps the milk to endure highly acidic environments like kadak chai or strong coffee. Nature Identical Flavor is used to add a milky note to all the preparations.
The concentration for all three is less than 1% each in the milk.
Q: I am on a zero-oil diet. Do you have any oil-free version as well?
A: Yes! We have whole-foods plant-based version for Almond, that you can check out on our all-products page.
Q: Do you have nation-wide delivery?
A: Yes, we deliver Pan-India! We ship orders the same day or the next day. It may take 1 day for Mumbai and 3-6 days for other cities, depending on how remote your location is.
Q: How are you keeping the prices lower than tetrapaks, even though this is made from premium dry fruits?
A: Removing water reduces the costs for packaging & shipping, which we are passing on to our customers. It also allows them to control the creaminess they want, by adding less or more water.

I don't usually write reviews but I'm writing for veganday cause I know the struggle to find good milk alternatives in the market. So I have literally tried every single vegan milk option available in the market and safe to say veganday is in my top 3. I only like the almond variant, rest other variants are not up to my preference(haven't tried coconut and cashew so cannot commend on those) but the almond one is pretty solid. I use it just for coffee so for coffee specifically I highly recommend vegan day(if you add cinnamon it would taste exactly like altco oat milk which i absolutely love but they are tetrapack and given the reality of Indian logistics they are mostly puffed up(aka contaminated) And that's the struggle with tetrapack. So this paste format is an amazing solution tho I'm a bit on the fence cause of sunflower oil in milk, I would have loved if there was no oil or very little oil(but I get that limitation with vegan stuff) and for per cup it isnt much. Tho they also fortify it with b12 and vit d but it's way too less to make any significant difference, it more for the marketing thingy. But I would urge the founders if not necessary they can remove it cause that amount would be doing nothing for Indian demography which is critically low in vitamin and have to anyways take multivitamin capsules. Might reflect in the pricing, might make it more affordable. On the pricing, I would say they are actually good, I mean its obviously expensive that dairy milk but compared to rest vegan milk options it's actually good. I haven't tried making curd of chai or any hot beverage. I only drink iced latte so. I'm a bit skepitcal on how almond would taste in curd.
I am writing this long para almost an essay cause i have reallly struggled with milk options for my coffee. Even tho i absolutely love alt co but they are expensive compared to veganday. And the ingredients are bad and imagine expiry of 6months and I used to get contaminated packet every single time. It was a big struggle. I'm so glad i came across vegan day, has been such a savior. It's more than 8months I would say since I started consuming veganday regularly. And I'm a consumer, I'll switch the second i find cleaner or better ingredients but I haven't so that speaks volume. There's a big gap in Indian market and vegan day is doing a great job. Tho there's lots of wastage cause i buy packets, that's the only environmental concern I have. Rest everything is amazing. And incase anyone is thinking of making homemade almond milk or cashew milk or date milk etc etc, I have tried it all. I am a picky eater, i need my food to be yummy. And homemade stuff is not good, I mean the ingredients are good but they lack the texture and creaminess. Tho I haven't tried plain almond milk. I only drink it with coffee so the smell or taste of it is overlapped with cinnamon. I think it would work well with chai cause chai also has cardamom.
Taste with coffee - 9/10
Smell - 6/10
Ingredients -7/10
Pricing- 8.5/10
You can decide for yourself but to every fellow vegan mate(?)/transitioner? I'd ask you to try the trial pack and you can pick and choose yourself
I mean they can do better but i don't think anyone would be disappointed.
Also random suggestion, why don't you guys do coffee creamer?
Hey Vegan Day 😊, we're still buzzing from the almond milk! It was game-changing - creamy, tasty, and versatile. We whipped up coffee, ginger tea, cake, popsicles, cold milk... you name it! 🍰 The milk's flavor was a hit, and zero waste too - no weird smell when the bottle was empty 🙌. Even made a mean oats porridge 🤩. Everything was soulful and delish. Huge thanks for bringing this amazing milk base to our lives! Hope it reaches more people and inspires some dairy-free love 🐄💚. Thanks again for the beautiful drink 😊!
